Company Background

Established in 2001, Shibui Interiors was conceptualised by Founder and Interior Designer, Brett Ryan as a boutique retail and interior design, to showcase the latest trends and inspirations from Asia, Europe, America, Australia and New Zealand. Shibui Interiors are stockists of exciting and on trend ranges in fabrics, wallpapers, bedlinen, furniture and home decor items. 

Having previously worked for several leading Interior Design companies, Brett made the decision to open his own design store in Mt. Eden based on the concept of "Shibui" (subdued elegance) to showcase interior design ideas and elegant interior settings, offering an ever changing visual display of inspirational furnishings and products.
