These are a GENUINE ANTIQUE ITEM - they are a one off pair!!

This exceptionally good pair of Antique Chinese Horseshoe Chair are approximately 100 years old. They are constructed from elm & blackwood with ornate carving detail.

The horseshoe chair design originated in the Ming dynasty (1368 -1644) more than 500 years ago. The most iconic and one of the most graceful of Chinese chair designs, yuanyi (meaning round chair) were given the name horseshoe chair by westerners.
